Walking is one of the most important movements we can do for our bodies. When done in alignment, it can work virtually every muscle in your body and has system-wide impacts on circulation, metabolism, bone density, and the health of your nervous system. And, it's how we get around.
Come join me at the beach for a series of walking classes that will help you access so many more muscles and have you walking in a way you never have before -- harvesting more of the benefits of this essential human movement. In this series of 4 walking sessions, the San Diego coastline will be our playground to discover:
Calm Knees & Strong Hips Cranky knees and hips get in the way of moving. We'll learn how to calm down those knees and get those hips moving. And we'll add some uphill and downhill to some of our sessions to find some knee friendly ways to go up and down.
Strong, Supple Arms. Walking is a FULL BODY activity and we won't be just focused on our feet and legs. Our arms are an integral part of our walking cycle -- we'll work on getting our arms in neutral so we can use them full in our walking. AND, we'll take a few turns at hanging the playground.
